2015 HIP Summer Concert

  • The Guild Theater 2828 35th St Sacramento, CA, 95817 United States

Hmong Innovating Politics (HIP) would like to invite you to join us for a night of music and performances. We have a great line up of local artists and performers. Featuring: Fong Tran, Luna Vang, Chua Xiong, Yami Lee, and many others.

Proceeds will help fund our Project Suab (Project Voice) which is a community campaign to engage, empower, educate and amplify the Hmong voice in Sacramento, California. While much work have been done to reduce barriers to registration and voting, Hmong Americans and low-income communities of color continue to be under-represented in the American electorate. Obstacles such as language barriers and poorly-designed bureaucratic systems continues to hinder our community's ability to fully engage in the electoral process. Project Suab represents our community's passion for change and our committment to bringing unheard voices to the table.
